Orchestra control engine: "open source" competitor...?

Download requires registration. The web page goes a long way suggesting
that the thing is "open source", but most of it is just "free for
non-commercial use"... (See question 11 in the FAQ:

and one doesn't get the code at all.
For those things were the code is available, the license is more like
OpenOffice.org's licence: you give Sintesi all rights to your contributions.
