Hi, I have recently installed rtai on my computer running Ubuntu 10.10. I had a hard time re-compiling OROCOS using lxrt as a target system. First because even setting the OROCOS_TARGET variable it was not working. Only after using ccmake to change the OROCOS_TARGET was able to recompile OROCOS to have the deployer-lxrt. However when I try to execute it, I didn't get any response, I mean nothing happens. Does anyone have any clue?
deployer-lxrt not working
I have the same problem when I create the first thread
deployer-lxrt not working
Is there a step-by-step how to set up OROCOS with rtai?

You can find this information in the Installation Manual:
http://www.orocos.org/stable/documentation/rtt/v2.x/doc-xml/orocos-insta...
Especially 'Number of LXRT slots' ('1000') is important.
However, as earlier postings on this list indicated, no core developers
have ran this on RTAI the last years, so you'll have to send us the output
of the rtt unit tests, kernel messages and /proc/rtai.
