Manual build of orocos-toolchain-2.2.0 fails

Hi,

I'm trying to build orocos-toolchain-2.2.0 manually using cmake. I'm using:

Debian Lenny
boost 1.40
ACE&TAO 5.6.3
cmake 2.6.0

Here what I did.

1. In rtt/, mkdir build, cd build, ccmake .. ( enabling CORBA), make
2. In ocl/,mkdir build, cd build, cmake ..

I got the following error :
CMake Error: find_package could not find module FindOROCOS-RTT.cmake or a
configuration file for package OROCOS-RTT.
Adjust CMAKE_MODULE_PATH to find FindOROCOS-RTT.cmake or set OROCOS-RTT_DIR
to the directory containing a CMake configuration file for OROCOS-RTT. The
file will have one of the following names:
OROCOS-RTTConfig.cmake
orocos-rtt-config.cmake

CMake Error at CMakeLists.txt:142 (message):

RTT not found. Is the version correct? Use the CMAKE_PREFIX_PATH cmake
or environment variable to point to the installation directory of RTT.

May someone help me?

It's a cmake issue. It is advised to use cmake 2.6.3 or newer. With cmake
2.6.0, you need to point your cmake_prefix_path to the prefix/lib/cmake/orocos-
rtt directory in order to locate the RTT in OCL.

I tried to add your CMAKE_PREFIX_PATH and I got new errors...

I think It's better to try with a newer Cmake version :/

It's a cmake issue. It is advised to use cmake 2.6.3 or newer. With cmake
2.6.0, you need to point your cmake_prefix_path to the
prefix/lib/cmake/orocos-
rtt directory in order to locate the RTT in OCL.

Manual build of orocos-toolchain-2.2.0 fails

I tried to update my cmake to 2.6.4 and everythings worked fine.

As I remember in orocos 1.x we had a list of orocos dependency. Is it
possible to have the same with orocos 2.2.0 like in the orocos.org ->
Toolchain -> Getting Started?

So we can see that cmake 2.6.3 is required and other librairies like lua51
