OCL reporter component ends with SIGSEGV
Submitted by Steven Bellens on Sat, 2010-11-06 09:32 |
Hi,
When adding a Reporter component to my configuration XML file, the
deployer shuts down (when I tell it to do so), but shows a SIGSEGV
message. I've noticed this behaviour _sometimes_, still unable to find
out why it sometimes does and sometimes does not show up. Backtrace in
appendix. Any ideas?
regards,
Steven

What are you actually trying to report?
Is your reporting still running? Does it disappear if you stop the reporter
before shutting down?

4 seperate ints, a ROS message and a KDL::Frame..
I just found out the problem only appears when I start the
configuration without a ROS master running.
The ROS message however is composed in one of the components and does
not depend on external ROS nodes.

Stopping the reporter before shutting down solves the problem.
