Getting some webspace on orocos.org

As we agreed at the developer's workshop, most of the tooling we have at
DFKI will be published as a different project than the main orocos
toolchain project. Right now, I merged all the tooling documentation
that we have. I'd like to publish it and I have two main options for that.

The first one would be that I get some account on orocos.org so that I
can publish the pages on orocos.org/~dfki for instance.

The second one is to publish it on DFKI servers.

The first solution would be by far the quickest for me, as our IT
department is -- let's say -- not very quick with unusual requests.
Would it be possible ?

I have given 'Sylvain Joyeux' <your dfki address> full webadmin access to the
website. There was also a gmail address (account 'sylvain') which I gave the
same rights. The module you need is import html, right beneath 'Administer'.
It's quite user friendly, but indeed better test first with a single page until
you figured out how you like it.

I can also setup a beta/testing site where you can first play around, but that
will take some database & file cloning time... if you're going to play around
with (global) css or so, this might be the better approach. If you send me
your public ssh key, I can also give you login access if you need direct file
access to the server.

Given the little time I have, I would rather just have a folder in which
I can copy the self-contained static webpages I have. I am sorry, but I
believe that I don't have the time to convert what I have into the
normal orocos.org design.

That is an understandable practical constraint...

However, I would definitely want to urge to choose a much more descriptive
name than "dfki": the name should be about _what_ is hosted on these pages,
and not refer to _who_ has taken the initiative for the content. So,
somehting like "XYZ-tooling" would make much more sense, with "XYZ" still
to be defined in somewhat more details.

Success with your project!

Well ... The "much more descriptive name" is Orocos/DFKI Toolchain.

If we find a better name, we will use it ;-)
