I have complained that the SimpleNonPeriodicClient didn't work such much on
rtt 2.x. Looking on the maillist I have found a thread about updateHook
called before startHook.
Well, I have compiled toolchain git master and now the example works!!! With
2.1 no ...
Stephen please, could you update the wiki with the code that I sent you?

It's on my list of things to do ... soon ...
Thanks for the update to v2. I am thinking about how to post these kind of examples, with the original v1 that some of us are still using, and supporting v2 versions of each example.
Due to a complete lack of feedback on my previous questions re an orocos-examples repository, expect to see this happen on gitorious in the near future ... this will contain this example, plus others.

I agree to have an orocos-examples repository. And, my opinion is to begin
with something and see whats happening.
