I thought I remember Peter showing our group how to have two independent sessions into the same RTT deployment. That is, multiple terminal windows interacting with the same deployed components.
Am I dreaming this? Or is this possible?
I have need to deploy a set of components, and then periodically connect from a different machine to interact… but I can't keep that second connection alive all the time. How does one do this?

AFAIK, this is possible with a remote corba taskbrowser: you need to start
your deployment with the deployer-corba and can connect to it remotely with
multiple ctaskbrowsers. This works out of the box for me (just verified ;)
), if CORBA is not an option I guess the only other way is to start your
deployment in a screen session? (Or Peter has some other magic up his
sleeve).
